Self-employed?
Loan ready.
Banks make it harder for self-employed borrowers — complex tax returns, add-backs, and rigid serviceability rules. We know which lenders look at your real numbers and how to package your application so it gets approved.

Quick stats
Common questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need two years of tax returns?
Not always. Most lenders prefer two years, but several on our panel accept one year of returns, BAS statements, or 6–12 months of business bank statements through low-doc and alt-doc products.
What is a low-doc loan?
A low-doc loan lets you verify income with documents other than tax returns — like BAS, bank statements, or an accountant's declaration. Rates can be slightly higher, but we'll compare both options so you know the real cost.
How long do I need to have been trading?
Most lenders want at least 12 months of ABN registration and trading history. Some accept six months with strong financials. We'll tell you exactly where you stand before you apply.
Can I borrow as much as a PAYG borrower?
With the right lender and a well-packaged application, yes. Many self-employed borrowers actually borrow more once deductions and add-backs are assessed properly.
How much does your service cost?
Nothing. Our service is completely free to you. We're paid a commission by the lender when your loan settles — this doesn't affect your advice or your rate.
